How to create a Windows 10 Bootable USB from an ISO file

In earlier days, any operating systems were installed using a DVD or CD. But nowadays we have more advanced and easy-to-use storage devices like USB drives and SD cards. So, the question is, Can we also use bootable USB drives for windows installation? And the answer is, yes.

So, don’t worry if you don’t have your Windows 10 installation DVD because by reading this article you can install your windows 10 operating system only with a USB Flash Drive.

For installing an operating system, first of all, we have to make our USB drive bootable by burning the iso image file of our operating system to our USB stick.

In today’s article, we will create a windows 10 bootable USB from an iso file of Windows 10. The tool which we will use is Rufus.

Rufus is a tool to create bootable USB from ISO that can be used for the installation of an operating system even without a DVD or CD.

Create Windows 10 bootable USB from ISO File using Rufus

First of all, you must have a Windows 10 ISO file, a USB drive of at least 8GB, and Rufus installed on your computer.

Now, go to your downloads and open Rufus. Choose “Yes” if prompted.

Select your USB drive from the Device drop-down menu.
